Please read the instructions below carefully before running PAM in Windows 7
IMPORTANT NOTES
** Several PAM users and users of other Fairport Sotware have reported an issue to do
with the date formats and units of measure under Windows 7.

There are steps that need to be followed to ensure the correct and trouble free running of PAM in Windows 7

- Ensure PAM is not running
- Open up the Control Panel
- Click on Clock, Language and Region
- Now, click on the Region and Language option
- Now click on the Formats tab
- Change the setting to something other than Australia (or your country, if you're not in Australia) ... e.g. Change it to Spain
- Check also on the Location tab - change it to to something other than English (Australia) (or your country, if you're not in Australia)
- Click the "Apply" button
- Now select English (Australia) (or your country, if you're not in Australia) on the Formats tab and Australia (or your country, if you're not in Australia) on the Location tab and click the "Apply" button again
- That's it !

PLEASE NOTE
If you have already restored your data and discovered that all your dates have been converted to USA dates and perhaps the units of measure have become "US Imperial", the procedure to fix this is as follows:
1) Follow the steps listed above to sort out Windows 7
2) Restore your data again.
